In-house bindery services are a critical element to "On Time" printing. Too often a printer completes the job on time only to have the outside bindery shop fail to meet its delivery commitment. At Crest Graphics, nearly all bindery work is performed on premises, allowing us complete control of the project from set-up to shipping.

Plastic Coil:
A continuous plastic coil is threaded into a series of small holes running the length of the binding edge. This results in bound pages that are resistant to tearing, will lay flat, and may be folded back on themselves. Coils come in an assortment of colors. Bound books are sturdy and will not come apart.

Saddle Stitch:
This system works well for books that aren't too thick (up to 80 pages plus cover). After folding the collated sheets in half, they are stitched (stapled) along the fold and trimmed.

GBC Punch and Bind:
By punching nineteen holes along the edge of the book and inserting a plastic comb, this method can be used for binding books up to two inches in thickness. You can select from an assortment of colored binders. Books will lie flat on a desk for easy reference.

Tape Bind: (FastBack binding system):
Books and manuals up to 2" thick can be handled with an off-line tape bind. Tape binding is available in various colors and may even be custom imprinted.
